The Trussell Trust Collaboration

April 28, 2020

For most people on planet earth, 2020 hasn't been quite how they imagined it - the Covid-19 outbreak has unsettled so many lives and brought entire continents into lockdown.

One issue that has become especially prevalent in these strange times is the amount of people in the UK that aren't able to feed themselves or their families due to their financial situation.

In the UK alone, over 14 million people are living in poverty (including 4.5 million children) which is just mind-blowing in this day & age.

We recently teamed up with one of the superstars in hunger prevention within the UK - The Trussell Trust. They support a nationwide network of food banks and together they provide emergency food & support to people locked in poverty, and campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK.

We re-printed an old favourite, the Mushroom Medley T-Shirt and will donate £5 to The Trussell Trust for every Mushroom T-Shirt that finds a new home.

We're really looking forward to supporting this wonderful charity but if you'd like to make a donation (either food or £) then please visit there site: trusselltrust.org

Surprisingly, there have been a few positives to come out of this pandemic like reduced pollution, improved community spirit & some amazing fundraising stories that have captured the nation.

It's tough for everyone but we're trying to focus on the positives.

Stay safe x
